25/09/2008 Wind farms development participation in Romania.

Ecointegral Engineering is collaborating on the work of engineering for the development of four wind farms in Romania.

On the lastest years, Ecointegral Engineering has done work for many different wind farms projects throughout the Spanish territory in terms of engineering, management and environmental analysis, but It has not been carried out this type of work outside the borders of Spain.

The work undertaken has been to the realization of four projects of wind farms with a combined total power of 138 MW .

This fact has meant the opening of new business expectations for Ecointegral abroad and consolidating to Ecointegral in the wind market at the European level.

Some of the features of the Romanian market are its size, it occupies a strategic position, being the country receiving EU funds, in addition to other aspects such as cheap labour, the risks and the positive economic developments and Spanish investment in Romania.

This country has nearly 22 million inhabitants it is slightly less than half of Spain, but has a great potential for growth in all parameters. More than 30,000 million euros Romania will receive until 2013 in various programs in a country that already has a positive economic development in recent years in all sectors.

For many reasons, Romania is one of the countries where they are expected to develop strong investment by third countries, with a big boom in the field of renewable energy.
